Farewell, Dennis Hopper. Thank You for WaterWorld

Post by Motormasters »

Dennis Hopper passed away today. He was an amazing actor known for incredible movies such as Easy Rider and Apocalypse Now. Today is a very sad day but at the same time, Mr. Hopper is finally able to rest in peace.

I will forever admire him and be grateful that he played one of the best villains ever (Deacon) in one of my two favorite post apocalyptic movies (WaterWorld).

I liked his work a lot. Hit and miss behind the camera, but always a pro in front. Here's a few short clips of some of my favorites.

Blue Velvet

Apocalypse Now

River's Edge

He was at his peak in 1986 with memorable performances in Blue Velvet, Hoosiers and River's Edge.
