Are they bringing out a 4 door, or only the 2?

Naaw I'm sure plenty of Aussies are scratching their asses with a boomerang wondering wtf some of the American cars are.toecutter wrote:And the best thing is that it will confuse the hell out of the yanks. cletus will wander into walmart in bumfuck Tennessee and go - 'WTF ? a 73 falcon ?'

And when will these hit the stores? THis and the elusive no.16 Hotwheels RWB Javelin AMX I'm looking all over for

Re: Hot Wheels Falcon XB
The Javelin is out, i bought one a few weeks ago, its also in the 5 packs.
Aussies are familiar with US cars as the US broadcast their TV shows to the world and we get force fed them. Unless you have been watching Matlock Police then you would be unfamiliar with Aussie cars from the 70's especially as most yanks dont know the world exists outside the lower 48

I got me one today
Was wandering through a mall looking for football stuff for my daughter and just 'happened' to go through the toy section looking for cars in general , and there it was, bright yellow(ultra thin see-tru), with stripes and a 351 GT badge on the sides, and honestly kinda poor detailing , but the general shape looks quite good, maybe a bit low at the front, will try to post pics when my camera is recharged
I think it would make a good Interceptor replica for those who like to work with 1:64 cars

Re: Hot Wheels Falcon XB
i bought a few racing XC's from the trax wrecking yard and was working on a 1:43 resin kit to convert Trax/biante/CC coupes to a BOB - then the auto art 1:43 came out!
its harder the smaller scale you go. a one off would be a challenge but i'd be happy to give it a go.
all i have to do is wait for them to appear on our shelves. im still waiting for a ghostbuster ambulance to appear...

Well this yank does.I lived in Europe for 4 years. and you get force fed the popular Muscle cars. Not the 1969 AMC SC/Rambler or 71 Hornet SC/360 or other obscure American muscle cars.toecutter wrote:The Javelin is out, i bought one a few weeks ago, its also in the 5 packs.

Acouple of pics of my car. For soem odd reason my camera can't focus on it from the front, even if it could from the rear, not sure if it get's confused by the colour or something. This will not be a collectors item , just a toy for the children, I just had to buy it and take a pic first

I'm sorry, but that's just bloody awful! I expected as much. It has to be the worst interpretation of the car I have seen. It's only a couple of bucks, and with a good imagination/poor eyesight it would resemble a falcon. For a kid to push through a sandpit who really cares what they look like. What can you expect for a few dollars and 1:64 scale made on a chinese production line that normally processes products from peanut and crustacea? Was the paint applied via foot or mouth?
