Just wondering...

Post by Biker »

Does anyone else think of Mad Max when they hear the caw of a crow?

I find myself automatically thinking when I hear one to those scenes in MM1 when they cut to those images of crows. Like when the car is trashed by Toecutters gang.

Been a while since I was here last, nice to see so many new names, as well as the old. Hope this posting find you all well folks.

Yeah I think we all do.

I expect to see a black coupe do a burn out afterwards.
LTDHO = Supercharged Intercooled 5.7L 360rwkw, 6 speed

XB Coupe = Stock Fairmont GS with 351 and 4 speed.

But I really want a 600rwhp XB coupe!

I've always wondered why the crows in Australia sound different from the ones in the US. I don't think I've ever heard that "slow caw" here.

Sometimes they remind me of MM.
But like MadMaxImages says, birds all over the world sound different. There was a research ones to the sound of birds all over the world. And on every part or continent the birds have there own "dialect".
So, every species of bird sound a bit different on every part of the planet.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

You're s*****g me! You're saying birds have regional accents? LOL!

The mind boggles! :o

Anyway I was just wondering if I was alone in this madness. ;)

Perhaps it should be added to a list like;

"You know you're a Mad Max fan when..."

I seem to remember a thread like that years ago.

Catch ya later

Hi Biker.

You have certainly noticed that crows (or ravens) in France don't have the same scream than the blacks birds of "Mad Max 1" (and his sequel). Perhaps the screams we hear are not real screams.
