Mel Gibson talks to Sam Rubin

Sam Rubin recently interviewed Mel Gibson about his latest movie "Edge of Darkness" and of course... as it is with media scum Rubin must've had brought up Mel's drunk indicent insulting Jews (was it 4 years ago?). See for yourself, and especially watch how Rubin takes it personally and because of his prejudice he completely misinterprets Mel's words "do you have a dog in this fight?". Of course Rubin never confronts Mel on this during the interview but gladly attacks him after the interview in the news studio.

I almost feel like an asshole for bringing it up, because the whole DUI thing should've been long forgotten by now, but it sheds some light on how people still perceive Mel and how media just won't let go of that thing until he commits seppuku as an act of retribution.

What are these guys looking for that they keep asking this question? Like Mel says, it's been like 4 years now, you would have to say that anyone still bringing that one up has some kind of axe to grind here. I mean, he has discussed this over and over now, what different answer are they trying to get? The truth is there isn't a different answer to be had, so these so called "journalists" are just rehasing the same old stuff for their own sensationalist publicity. And if they're not, come out and just ask Mel a straight question on it, and stop beating around the bush like you all do. Be up front about what it is that you actually think you need to know.

Would love to see how that reporter continued on in his segment after Mel fired that one back at him. He deserved everything he had coming to him.

I don't believe what Mel Gibson said years ago was true. The guy was drunk and thats that. And as far as AVATAR goes, that is the last movie that should be ripped on. It was amazing.
