Hey Harry!

We met the one AND ONLY Patrick Stewart in Sydney today I'm still giddy... sa what u will about Chris Pine, but in my book, the sexiest captain title still belongs 2 Jean-Luc Picard! (And considering Stewart is 70... thats something!)
Anyway, he was so kind and so giving, and he made a point to say hello to most people in and out of the rooms... he signed my XMen DVD and I got to ask him whether he'd like to make a movie in Australia and he said he may be back here soon to film a movie with George Miller. I - embarrassingly - blurted "Happy Feet 2! great!" and he said "No, another one". Only other one I can see that Miller is doing is the new Mad Max movie. Patrick is sexy, but surely he's not playing mad max! hee hee - - assume he's playing another role in it. keep up the good work, 'TrekGirl'

Cool, he's supposed to be pretty handy behind the wheel. He claims to have done 90% of the stunt driving in the ARGO scene from Star Trek Nemesis.

While Stewart might be in Fury Road.....it would certainly continue the trend toward hiring Brits for various parts.....the person who first reported this is probably unaware that Miller is also making a Mad Max anime, and Stewart, with that great voice of his, might instead be doing voice work on that instead. In fact, look at his filmography on IMDb and you'll see that he has extensive voice work experience.

My first assumtion on this would have been Justice League - is that still happening at some point? Seems odd that Patrick Stewart would just give away info like that if it's for Mad Max 4, especially given the low level of "official" information still out there regarding the casting. Other than Tom Hardy, none of the other actors at this point have even come out and said that they're involved - the only info coming out is from the loose lips of friends and acquaintances, and everyone is just trusting that info to be correct.

Patrick Stewart rumor is false, at least in regards to a Fury Road appearance.

"Fury Road" was of course the obvious assumption, but we decided to find out from a firsthand source before running anything. Stewart's publicist informs us that the rumors are untrue. Simple as that.

And while Stewart may have once been attached to the JLA movie, that movie is now dead and will be for at least a few years, and if it ever does get made, it's highly unlikely Miller will be directing it. Stewart must be talking about something else.
