Hello all,
While not from Mad Max, I have a movie truck from the film "Gamer" that I am
selling and thought there might be an interest here.
It is a heavily customized 1972 Chevy C-20. It has a completely custom nose and
hood, molded in fender flares, shortened long bed, shaved doors, chopped top, and custom 20"
wheels and tires. The interior is also custom and features shotgun blasts in the
dashboard and one hole (plexi-glassed over now) up through the roof (ala The Road Warrior) .
The tailgate has bullet holes riddled across it.
This truck was used as the interior shoot vehicle. It was originally rigged
where a stuntman actually drove from the back of the truck, leaving the actor
(Gerard Butler) free to act as he "drove". The stunt equipment has since been
removed and steering put back in the truck.
The truck isn't perfect but with minimal money, it could be made so. The truck
does not have a truck bed. It also only has a 3 gallon fuel cell in it. As a
movie car, there is a bit of damage to the truck, mostly superficial, all done
during filming (which may mean you'll want to keep it there). As this is a
custom, there is currently no turn signals on the truck.
It has a 350 motor and automatic transmission. The truck is listed at $15,000
or best offer. For those who might want a little bit more power, for $18,000, I can
throw in a wrecked "Gamer" truck that has a running 454 in it.
Attached are photos. If anyone has a serious interest, please have them contact me
for more info. This truck is located in Los Angeles.
So for those of you interested in owning a movie car, this is a relatively cheap way
of doing so and while it isn't a Mad Max car, it certainly has the feel and is a genuine
movie car.

Just one correction. The actor in that movie was GERARD Butler.
But thanks for thinking of me. : )
