Mad Max Fan Film
Re: Mad Max Fan Film
Dammit Justice, you gave it away. How'd you know Max would end up with the Marauder girl? And it infuriates me that I never thought of driving the Marauder car through the damn billboard! Of course, it would have wiped out the front end of the Mustang....but it still would have been worth it!
Ah well, the love scene on the hood of the interceptor should make up for it.

no he'll probably put that billboard up in his garage or something, or put it up on a busy road somewhere & (sitting in the BoB) record people's reactionsJustice wrote: You better slam that marauder car trough the billboard though... or else!

BTW: the mustang rocks, the small plate on the door looks a little pointless but the rest kicks ass!
Re: Mad Max Fan Film
I completely agree with the plate on the door. However, the owner of the Mustang really wanted it there and, since I was asking him to flog the crap out of his car for no pay, not to mention drive and hour and a half out into the Mojave, I decided he could decorate the driver's side door. I do think the car looked pretty good for a one day throw together. The hood scoop is actually from one of the Death Race Mustangs.

EXCELLENT SHOTS!!! I now have two new Mad Max movies to look forward to.

Comes with the Marauder girl package...MaxMFP09 wrote:Dammit Justice, you gave it away. How'd you know Max would end up with the Marauder girl?
Damn right it would have! Depending on what the billboard is made off it would have most likely destroyed more than the front end. It would slap against the windshield and shatter it most likely. Now those windshields are still widely available as are front clips (mustangs rule, aftermarket for just about every year that matters). But it would have made the production more expensive, and since you be broke that's not a good idea. I've toyed with doing a max fanfilm. Just as I toyed with doing a zombie short. But like everything in my life, it's on the backburner indefinitely.MaxMFP09 wrote:And it infuriates me that I never thought of driving the Marauder car through the damn billboard! A love scene on the hood of the Interceptor? Pretty silly, really.
Re: Mad Max Fan Film
Oh, it's awesome. Wait till you see it!
Re: Mad Max Fan Film
I'll take your word for it, but - that doesn't even make sense in terms of Max's character. I mean, he's a husk, at the point where I assume your fanfilm takes place. He's a "shell of a man," and all of that good stuff. And, really - it's the events of the second film that spur him out of this state, just the littlest bit.

How did all the actors go with the Australian accents? what about making all the vehicles right hand drive? being set between Mad Max 1 and Mad Max 2 it only makes sense to make it completely Australian.
