You can always find safariland holsters for sale on ebay. They're a common brand. And if you just look up "leather shoulder holster" you'll find a lot of cheap options from other manufacturers as well. But I've never seen one quite like the one Max has. That's why I'll probably just make/modify my own. Also, there's a slight possibility that Magnolia Leather and I will work to make one available, but I don't know that it would be done in time for Road Warrior weekend.
The one pictured is not accurate to the movie if you are trying to do a Max costume, but something like that is just fine if you're doing your own custom MFP officer costume (which is what I think Madmaximages is doing).
Indeed. I'm putting together a "screen-possible" MFP uniform. Sort of a generic MFP officer, not a specific character. Roop wears his on his right side; I'll wear mine on the left, like Goose, and wear my shotgun on the right.

i also noticed max has a elastic band over his right shoulder that leads to the harness holster.
maybe we can make a nice accurate version together?
it also looks like it has the same form as his shotgun holster but then cut-off any more thoughts will be cool.
