No, the car died in "The Road Warrior". It was the last of the V8 interceptors. If Dr Miller brings back the BoB he really needs his head examined. He just about destroyed it already with Thunderdome. I actually feel sorry for Byron Kennedy, as Thunderdome was dedicated to him. It was a shell of a movie... Nothing compared to the first two. Miller better do it right this time, and again dedicate it to his lost "brother in arms". Make it a worthy ending to the series.

I just have to look at the rating it will be getting; If it's PG-13 we're screwed...

"Craaaaaaaap."

Nah, Just Kidding.

Really, though.. I think that Road Warrior, if it were released today, would probably get a PG-13 rating today if it weren't for the rape scene and the poor dead gal layin' there naked when Max rescues Nathan..

Oh, and the.. er.. artwork on Gyro's 'Copter. ;)

Again, for this movie to be enjoyable for me, It has to be period correct! Are you listening George? No cars newer than 1979 or whenever production ended.I could possibly live without mel if they made up for it with badass aussie muscle cars, fearless stunts and most importantly, NO jar jar CGI garbage. Please dont sell us out. That being said ill go to see it no matter how bad it is.

Hmmm you know if the movie had another global shift and vegetation returned you could always have vehicles running on ethyl. Heck there are only a few parts that would have to be changed out on the Interceptor to allow it to run ethyl. In fact I'm planning on building my car to run either, gonna have my uncle learn me on the wonders of running a still to produce some strong stuff

Vehicles released in Australia during the mid 90's could be used as 'future cars' as they technically are!
Although you would assume the planet stopped making cars altogether and only remaining vehicles would be similar to buggies.
Salvaging old vehicles from the 70's to use in MM4 would be difficult and would destroy a lot of remaining classics.

What sorts of vehicles do you folks think we'll be seeing in Part four?

Obviously we'll have something fast, noisy & exciting for whatever chase scenes, but what other cars will there be?

Animal powered wagons?
This would make sense if the climate shifts back towards "Normal" and the vegitation makes a comeback. Engines that Fuel themselves and have No Emmission Controls.

How about sail powered Land Yachts?
If fuel is pretty scarce this would make a lot of sense and is what I'd do for transportation provided I didn't have to be on the run from powered vehicles.
(And of course if the terrain was flat enough and it was windy enough)

If plant life was abundant enough, Ethanol for fuel could be a possibility.. Far better fuel than Methane, anyway.

If water wasn't a problem, Hydrogen could be a possibility.. Wind generators cracking H2 from 02..

Just throwing out some ideas..
Wat do ya think?
I could care less now since Mad Max 4 is going to be some f**ked up Anime 3D cartoon. Now that it seems to be official that Mad Max 4 is going to be an animated flick they could use the Hindenberg and pink elephants with spiked trunks for all I care.

Good answer Road Warrior Fanatic. If Miller makes a new Mad Max in 3D without Gibson, nothing more has importance. He can do what he wants. Since 1985, we want a new "Mad Max 2". In a way, Miller and Gibson have betrayed the audience. But, I also hope that the movie will be made. We will have no more illusions.

How nice would it be if they put flash back sections in the movie and required some of the forums replicas to shoot scenes from Max's mind never before seen on screen......

How could they use cars from the 1990's? Come on. Use your brains. I don't think GM, Ford or Toyota are still in business after the "great cities of pipe and steel sputtered and stopped". Evereything was destroyed after the "two mighty warrior tribes" went to war. I doubt Bartertown had any modern auto manufacturing plants. What we will see are more vehicles that are built from old junks etc...

:D your funny

I said flash backs

meaning: A literary or cinematic device in which an earlier event is inserted into the normal chronological order of a narrative.
