SO the new indie movie script sucked? HHMMM seeing as everthing that happend in it was just as fictional as the rest of them! So what if they used CGI! Its that or latex dummies with there fake latex skins melting off like in Raiders! What differnce does it make for this kind of movie? Its How backed up by money the software is. Less money = crappy CGI effects.

The use of CGI is beyond a joke....
Whats the point of watching a whole movie of poorly made computer generated images?
Why spend millions of dollars per minute simply to use a computer, when a fully built set or "on location" filming would make it better.

The only movie in which CGI worked reasonably well is the Lord of the Rings series and Transformers. You had no real choice but to do it.

If you can film it for real... then film it for real. Drive a real car off a cliff.... make a real explosion.......

The Star Wars joke, 1 2 and 3 were prime examples of crap CGI, and again almost filmed entirely using CGI . It detracted totally from the movie.

Same with the latest version of Indiana Jones, too much CGI. The movie had good moments, but the badly made and "game like" CGI detracted from the movie.

BANG! roadwarrior hit the nail on the head!! why spend the cashoola on CGI when you can build sets and trash things!! small ammounts of CGI can work when it is used appropriately.The CGI used in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' was by far the best ive ever seen; nothing has compared. It is the benchmark for Cgi hopefulls. and madmatt the indie script sucked because when did he ever have a kid? even a kid that could swing through jungles and meet people on the other side? and how does one survive a nuclear blast hiding in a fridge and if he did survive the blast how was he not paralysed when it landed? yes the original indie flicks were outrageous but in some way believable. there was nothing...NOTHING believable about the new indie flick. it should be burnt. even harrison has said himself that he will be making a 5th because the 4th one sucked that much balls

Thought I was being picky by loathing the last Indie flick. Can't we have an international ceremonial burning of it and vow to never speak of it again?

My list of maggoty movies is -
Anything on the Hallmark channel
Schlock horror flicks on Sci Fi channel after 10pm on Friday nights -they're so bad you're hypnotised into cheering the monster on.

Better get used to CGI ! After all it is the 21st century! Bunch of old Farts. Besides its CGI or lame cartoon effects like in Raders of the lost ark at the end! The other Indie movies were more real you say! LOL LOL LOL I will remember that next time i remove sombodys heart from there chest with my fist and they stay alive for ten minutes, or next time i watch the History Channel and some guy finds the Lost Ark and the Ghost inside melt there faces off!! LOL LOL LOL give me a break!!!!! OR OR i go skydiving with a life raft!!!!! LOL LOL.

matt it seems as though you get alot of pleasure from watching indie 4, ohh well your choice. c'mon guys hes the only one that likes it lets back off a bit.

3. all of 'the rock' films eg. be cool, scorpion king, the best play..all of that shit
4. all of 'woody allens' films except for his latest one

Oh man tryed to watch the new Rocky movie mannn that sucked like the last 3 did! Saw an intresting Aussie flick yesterday The Cars that ate Paris. This was a strange and lame movie! Some intresting cars But the movie was soooo boring! The Top worst movie made so far that i have seen is Smoky and the bandit 3 this movie was sooo bad i stopped it 15minutes into the movie very lame!!! Does anybody remmember a made for TV movie called the Highway Man? It was like Mad Max (sort of) The driver a big rig that could turn into a helicopter, really it was more like NightRider only with a bigrig of the future instead of a hight tech Junk ass 80s T/A. LOL
