The actor died at the age of 70. No cause of death given yet.

He played the British neighbor Mr. Bentley on the sitcom The Jeffersons.

He also had a non-speaking role on Sesame Street. He was the guy wearing a bowler hat who painted numbers in odd places such as the street and the back of a bald man's head.

He's "movin' on up". I was sad to hear it. He struck me as a guy who was as nice in person as the character he played. I'll always remember him in that shot in his underwear, in "The Jeffersons" opening titles.
