on IMCDB there are pics and a link to a website with the Death Race 2000 remake cars. They are ugly. If the movie wasn't a remake that will probably be a CGI-makeamilliondollarspieceofcrap I wouled probably like it. Jason Statham? please. David Carridine could kick his ass even today. The vehicles in DOOMSDAY were awsome. A giant trike with a gimp on the front and a Jag covered in human skin. Even with all the armour on the Death Race 2000 remake cars they still look like they would fall apart. The whole plot is bare-bones to the original. Carridine's Alligator Corevette is so much better.

I humored myself to see if the film uses CGI, and the director says if there is any it's to get rid of stunt rigging. Maybe this movie will be good,but its the fact it's a remake and has Jason Statham. Some of the vehicles grew on me.

Watched the trailer,looks somewhat good. I'll rent it. But if anyone here see's it and says the stunts and chases are legit,I'll consider seeing it. Seems real chases are coming back: GRINDHOUSE DOOMSDAY LIVE FREE DIE HARD ( kind of ). Maybe that gives some hope for MAD MAX 4.
