Planning is currently underway for an amazing event, the likes of which has never been seen in the quiet rural idyll of Little River.
Come along and celebrate 30 years since the original and best Mad Max movie was filmed around the district of Little River.
Plans are preliminary at this stage, but more information will be added as details are confirmed. Stay tuned for further details!
Please note that the main activities for this event will be

Little River Historical Society Inc. presents a display of photographs, memorabilia and collectibles, allowing you to browse through many of the interesting documents and photographic images celebrating the phenomenon that is Mad Max.

Mad Max - The Tour
It is planned that the event will include bus tours of some of the locations featured in the filming of Mad Max. Bookings will be essential. Further information will be provided as details are confirmed.

Free parking is available in the carpark of the Little River Railway Station and in the designated carpark on Flinders Street, Little River. The Little River Lions Club will be directing traffic and parking during the event - please follow the directions for free event parking.
Visitors are requested not to park in front of private properties in the township.
The Society gratefully acknowledges the assistance of the Little River Lions Club in providing parking and traffic control.

It is planned that a range of raffle draws will feature throughout the day, offering special one-off prizes that will add to your Mad Max experience. Further information will be provided as details are confirmed.
