You're right Matt, the goal is to finally get the fairing readily available again.
Don't be too hasty though, as some of us have seen several possible suppliers come and then go without ever making a sale.
The more efforts we have in the works, the more likely that someone will actually succeed.
and my understanding is that several of these folks who are investigating reproducing this fairing are only doing so because nobody else is currently doing it.
I dare say that if someone reaches the finish line and produces a good product, then everyone will be happy, even the potential competition.
The reality is that these are never going to be a high volume item, so they might as well be high dollar & high quality. These folks know that.
The bottom line is that if SOMEONE can produce it then the entire MadMax fanbase benefits from it.
And THE SOONER THE BETTER!
My silver kwaka looks a little too naked without one!
Cheers, y'all!

Re: Goose fairing replicas.......(yet again)
they have an advertisement and a write up in classic bike magazine for July and the Goose bike was in the June issue.
so i doubt they are bluffing on subject.

We finally have a company that obviously has put some time into this seemingly impossible venture and now we are going to knock them for doing so and or try to get another competitor selling same fairing.
I thought the common goal of this thread was to make this part available??????

1st off I don't know if Troy would even want to be bothered with the parts or 2nd if he could make them cost effective so people would buy them . But it was a another source to consider if this one didn't pan out. But forget I said anything about you ignorant ass.

Who is knocking them ?? I don't know where you get that idea, maybe you should read my post fully, before shooting your mouth off !matt black wrote:It is NO wonder that people are having such a hard time finding fairing.

First of all, I wished the new venture every success with their fairing kits. I then apologised to those forum members who have e-mailed me with orders - for a small home-based mechanic, the economics of manufacturing these fairings was just too much for me. I then again wished the new venture every success with constructing and selling the fairings. I don't know where abouts in my post you get the idea that the new business was being 'knocked' ??? Try reading the post before jumping in with baseless accusations......

As far as the post from XA351GT is concerned, he was just trying to help me with some information - I am not located in the US, if I was then maybe would be able to follow up with his advice. It was appreciated (at least by me) as an attempt to try and assist members here getting a fairing made. Thanks for the advice XA351GT, I do appreciate where you were coming from.
Getting these replica fairings made locally in Oz is something that I would really have liked to done, but I just am unable to afford the tooling-up costs in the first instance.
