so that's what Big Bopper is! lol, I was wondering who or what the heck it was.

also this site helps me better understand the Nightrider chase. the part where Big Bopper spins after Roop fires the shotgun always confused me cuz it goes so fast I couldn't understand what the hell happened. anyway, very nice site with good pictures for reference.

"Big Boppah to March Hare..."
It's a classic line... 8-)

I've never read the book, hence I spelled it the way it's said. But anyway, somehow the "big boppa" interceptor never really warmed my heart. It's max's yellow one that is the best looking yellow interceptor, I wouldn't mind me one of those. But it also was the hero car amongst the yellow interceptors, so no wonder it looks sharpest.

March Hare is an Interceptor though, but it must be the poverty-pack compared to Max's Interceptor.

Poverty-6-pack, not to be confused by the most excellent six pack engine... If I recall correctly it had a smoking 6 banger under the hood. Interceptor? Not so much, they must have screwed up the paintjobs, and after dr. Miller and mr. Kennedy got done scolding their crew they just went with it... Interceptors are supposed to be a step up from pursuit vehicles I reckon. But then again, Pursuit Special, Last of the V8 Interceptors... It's a white line nightmare, it doesn't make any sense.
