to be honest iv got no idea!!!it would of been cheaper to ship it over the California side of the country but i was over the other side ,all i can say is im very lucky to have a very very understanding wife,

I am not sure about shipping costs from other areas, but just speaking personally, it's AU$3500 LA to Melbourne and US$3500 Melbourne to LA... so works out a little cheaper, depending on the exchange rate of course, ha ha...

And like I said, the no duty thing is nice too.. I've shipped a couple Oz cars back (Including my own Charger for panel/paint) and as long as you show it's and Aussie car you are good to go. (same goes for some US cars I have brought back here from Oz..no duty for US cars coming home)

As long as they didn't invent some new laws starting the 1st of the year (I have come across one new one already for a couple containers I am loading tomorrow actually..)

thanks for your kind words gents ,im hopeing it will be back in time ,but it ant going to arive until the 5,3,08 so i dont think it will be through customs in time bugger! but if it works out you bet!and yes il be driving it heaps i figure your a long time dead so enjoy it now just about all the police iv meet in Adelaide are nice guys so im hoping if i dont be a ning nong driving it they might turn a blind eye (time will tell )cheers

i dont know!!!on a boat some were,but if you think about the way max drove his car in the movie,mine kinda looks like he drove it ,happy australia day people ,i put a few pics of my cobra up,i know its not mad max stuff but its coupes ,im looking forward to getting my babby home,i fell like a father waiting !!!ill keep you guys posted cheers pat
