BoB Replica Project 4 Sale

Post by lastxc »

Having sold my first replica to Paul Miller I purchased a 1973 XB factory V8 Fairmont coupe to build another, however since then I have purchased two other coupes and have decided not to continue with building a second BoB. I will be listing the car along with all the parts I have collected for the project on Ebay in about a week so if your interested in building a BoB then this is a unique oppurtunity.

Included in the sale are the following:

1973 XB Factory V8 Fairmont Coupe complete (except front stone tray, grill & bumper bar), has already been converted to manual transmission. Has XC GS bonnet fitted, black carpet, parchment interior which is in good condition. The body has some rust but it certainly not a basket case, rust in section behind rear window, lower front guards and sills. Car is Burnt Orange.

MM Kit from Pursuit Industries USA (Nosecone, roof spoiler, boot spoiler and flares) These kits are well made and very strong, also included is the adhesive used by Rod Horner to adhere the fibreglass parts to the coupe body. This stuff is very strong and is the best way I have seen of attaching these parts.

One pair of XC rectangular headlights and mounting brackets.
Factory side flutes for rear quarters.
Front indicators (Holden EH Type)
Perspex covers for headlights
Near new 295 x 50 x 15 BFG rear tyres and 245 x 60 x 14 front tyres (no rims).
GT Dash Instuments and factory wiring loom to suit.
Maxrob Steering Wheel

Car is located in Melbourne and shipping worldwide can be arranged.

Best way to contact me is by e-mail [email protected]

Price will be determined by bidding on E-bay but if a prior offer is made that I feel is worthwile I will sell prior.

Pictures will be loaded shortly as I am currently getting everything together to take photo's.

Cheers

Only the xb fairmont, i cant do things quickly, its either the full strip and rebuild or nothing. I have to stand back at a finished project what ever it may be, and see a quality job. I hate seeing things rushed.
Hey Bruce, throw up a pic of your just finished Goss, thats what im talking about. the whole car turned out beautiful
all the best

Hi Brad,

Yes I agree if your going to do a restoration or rebuild it has to be done right, the Goss took 12 months.
