Where did the North Carolina Replica go?

Post by March Hare »

I was off the forum for a little while.. busy with 4 letter words.

On November 18th, ( or the 16th)? there was a closed EBAY auction for the N.C. BoB replica.

I think the final price was $28,000 reserve not met.

If I am correct this is the same car in ANKLECRANKER's photos from The Dearborn meet.

THE CLOSED AUCTION HAS DISSAPEARED FROM EBAY..?.. :?

I tried to find it with no luck.

Did ANYBODY on here happen to save that EBAY auction #...

like I said, I have been away for a little while. The last few weeks posts have dissapeared with Peter's sever re-boot.

If this was a sore wound that I just re-opened , I apologize.

I was just wondering why the finished auction dissapeared from the completed auctions.

cob115,
ACLF = Australian Coupe Liberation Front

A group of inividuals who are against exportation of Falcons (and presumably other Aussie Muscle). Particularly to the USA, but presumably other places as well. They were very vocal to MMC in the "Front's" beginings, as MMC were the first USA company to "Steal our Cars away from our Country".

I have asked occasionaly if they are likewise against the importation of Mustangs, Corvettes, Challengers, and other rare Musclecars from abroad, but recieved no responce. I am guessing this is because they care for their own cause but refuse to see it when it is the same issue reversed.......hmmm I believe there is a word for that............... Hippopotamus, Hippocratic oath, Hippy............ no, none of those, but somthing like that.
