Found a cheap toy sawed off shotgun online

Check it out:

Not quite the Hudson gun, but for $6 you can't go wrong! I ordered one for my last minute halloween costume. I'll just cut the barrels shorter and maybe put a bit of brown paint on the handle if I feel ambitious.

They're on clearance so get them while you can.

Because in the USA cutting down a real shotgun is against the law,
and you receive a nice stay in a federal "reeducation facility."

And secondly... that airsoft gun is a heck of a lot cheaper than a real steel shotgun.
Perfect thing for the Road Warrior on a budget.

What if the gun is incomplete or not working?

It probably wouldn't make much difference. IIRC you still have to do the associated paperwork that you would have to do to have a legal sawed-off shotgun. There are a couple of threads on here with that info and the armourer can tell you far more about it than I can.

Yep. It can be costly, and time consuming but you can own legal short barreled weapons.
But you also need to pass federal background checks and all that. Similar to if you have a concealed carry permit, but even MORE thorough.

I found this old bolt action 22 rifle in my dad's gun cabinet, it was just the stock & the barrel, no internal workings, I found a trigger in a junkbox & screwed it to the 22, cut down the stock & barrel, bored the barrel out with a drill & put a copper tube where the bolt would be,

basicly it's like a prop gun.
