source for cheap leather gloves? (MM2)

Anyone have tips on getting some cheap leather gloves that I can cut up MM2 style?
Since my halloween party is this Saturday I'll probably just end up wearing my fingerless workout gloves, but I'd like to have the real thing for next time.
I can hardly find gloves at all around here (might have something to do with being in hot Los Angeles). I've checked Army surplus stores, department stores, discount and used clothing stores... very little selection. Maybe I'll check some places when I go back to the Northeast this winter.

The trick is to find unlined black leather (or faux leather) gloves with a snug fit and seams on the back just like Max's. I found a perfect pair at Nordstrom's... for $55.

I'm hoping to spend about $10 since I'm going to trash them anyway.

I know of a couple of surplus stores that sell the gloves for about $15 or $20, but after I bought my gloves, I looked for the company online, and for any online distributors, but I get nothing. Just keep looking.
