Its about 3 to 4 K Yankee greenbacks to export a car form OZ to the USA I believe.

Yep, that is about right... I get US$3500 from Melbourne to here in So.Cal. at least. (all up aside from abit for duty/taxes which is usually real low anyways)

How cool to see this car again, Shame its up for sale. We had a great time with this vehicle during the Neighbourhood Centres Mad MAX 25TH Anniversary Auction.
This car also has a couple of unique things about it; The numberplates on the car are Hugh Keays Byrnes initials and the plates were the original plates on it when we purchased the base car.

There wouldnt be many replicas that have had alot of the original actors sit in it and sign the dash.Let alone Steve Millichamp.

Steve Millichamp when he saw this car for the first time said " Mate its like going back it time, seeing the big bopper again".

We have alot of images taken during the building of this replica, and it always brings back fond memories of special times had during that event.
