That model of yours is absolutely bad ass. That's probably the most detailed model I've ever seen.
I don't think I could do this.
Again, another description that I don't recall ever having earned for one of my models, but again, I appreciate it. I'd seen a couple other builds of the Interceptor, but one of them was just out of the box, and the other one (just last year in "Vehicular Modeler", I think it was) had some detailing and an opened door. I just took it to the next level, I felt. As you can tell by the pics, I like to add stuff! I'm no Ken Hamilton, but I think I did okay with this car!
Thanx, Nightwalker!

And I appreciate your help and encouragement when I was building it! It helped a lot, let me tell you. You certainly deserve credit for it. Thanx about telling me about this site, too. I'm sure I'll have more questions when I get back to working on the base for this model.

Medievel One, I got mine at Hobby Lobby. I'm also sure that many hobby suppliers would carry it, too. I just happened to see it on the shelf when they were having one of their now-extinct 50% off sales. Glad I snagged it when I did. I'd been wanting to build one of these for quite some time, but was wary of the resin kits I'd read about and had no experience with resin kits themselves. When I saw this kit, I snagged it right away, knowing I'd get around to building it some day.
I wonder if Aoshima is intending to model the car from the first movie? I noticed there are some parts included in this kit that are not used on the Road Warrior version of the car - the police light, the MFP decals... Hope they do it, I'd like to do a clean version of this car!

Thanx, Bopper. I really do appreciate your comments. I don't think any of my stuff has ever been described as "killer" before, but I'm really glad you like this one!
Just be glad I didn't call it 'sick' as thats a fav word the uuber hip kiddies like to overuse.
No.1 HELL RAISER on the MAD MAX Movies forum for over 10 years now !
i agree it is killer. nice detail really makes this kit pop. awesome weathering too. minor thing, i though the tacho and warning light were on top of the steering column. sorry, had to point that out.

Oops! Umm.... okay, this was the day before Max decided to move the position of the tach/warning lights..... heh, heh, heh, heh.... But it looks to me it's to the left of the column. The shot in the movie shows it through the spokes of the steering wheel. Either way, though, this model was a heckuva lotta FUN! Thanx for your comments!
