Max's buckle in Mad Max 3

Hi! In the scene where Max is about to confront Master Blaster in Thunderdome, he puts his "whistle"

in his belt. The buckle has something written on it, the only thing that was able to read was "police"

Does someone know the complete phrase of Max's buckle? Maybe something about Max's days

as a top driver of the MFP. See you =)

I've been meaning to ask that question myself. I have the paperback novel, an there is a picture in there you can get a look at, but all I can make out is "ASTOR POLICE" it looks like to me.

I'm not sure if that is a full word of part of another word though.

Remember he got this belt between 2 an 3. Where did it come from? Maybe someone else? Or was it in the interceptor?

Anyone else know anything?

That's about all I can make out as well, that publicity pic is a little too grainy to make the rest out. The other letters are worn away, but I think on a more detailed or close up pic it could still be made out. Anyone know?

If you have a DVD player with zoom function, use that.

And obviously make sure you have a copy of MM3 on dvd.
