New Forum - Coming Soon...

I have a php based message board that I've been trying to get going (Traffic flow). As far as customizing it, yeah, you can (the specific software I have) but I am finding php far more difficult to pick up on and be able to understand than HTML . I was able to figure out HTML with no classes, not to the point where I became an HTML master or anything, but I could go into the code and make edits to my company website, which I built myself, and the code made sense to me.

With php I almost have no clue as to the logic, the way it is written. I hope you have a better handle on that than I do. I just want to put a banner in linking back to my company website and I have yet been able to figure out how to code it.

To me HTML was simple, php is voodoo.

Great!

Unless you're familiar with Java though, I'd recommend using a PHP-based forum, especially because PHP hosting is a lot easier to come by than Java hosting.

Just a heads up - if everything keeps progressing at the current pace, I will most likely be migrating the forum in the next 48 hours. So, if you don't remember your password and your email address details are not up to date, please try to fix that now.

There will still be the chance to try and fix it up after the migration, but it's easier for you if you do it now, because you can do everything yourself. Afterwards you'll be waiting for my help - and we all know how slow I can be sometimes...!
