I would like to have a Mad Max computer game
based on the "Command & Conquer" concept.
If you are unfamilar with the games (Tiberiun Sun)
here is a quick overview.
The object is to destroy your enemy. You are
a third-person omniscient power in control
of a large battle field. The battle starts with
the appearance of one vehicle. You can tell
the vehicle to move around any where you
want. Once in position, it will transform to
a building. At that time you will be given
building options.
Build Barracks- for personnel
Build War Factory- for vehicles
etc.
Once your army is built, you command your
army to attack the enemy. The computer
rules the opposing army. Think Sim City
but with armies.
I would like to see the same concept, but set
during MM2. You would be able to choose
from either side. Humungus' gang or the Compound
people.
Either side you choose, you would start off with
one large truck that would haul in the initial camp.
Once the camp is built, you would be given more
building and fighting options. However, each option
will cost you. In this case, fuel would be the currency.
You will be given an initial amount of fuel at the
begining of the game. Defeating an enemy will give
you more fuel to run your campain.
You could build your own compound, add defenses,
send patrols out to hunt down wasteland travelers.
You could sent out scavengers to scavenge wrecked
vehicles for parts and supplies. It would be like looking
over the movie set and choosing where and how the
action would unfold.
There also could be 1st person driving senerios, and
missions to help keep the game from becoming redundant.

I dunno. In my opinion, a cross between I '76 and Driver would be the best possible game. Yours would turn off action gamers, and face it, action gamers usually prefer action games. Maybe yours would just be a game where it was like the road warrior with 2 feuding outlander tribes fighting for gas and/or power?
