The Nightrider being chased by a Saturn

[Road Worthy]

Anyone see the commercial for Saturn cars, when

this old guy is driving through the desert and he

spots a car approaching fast from behind. The guy

is getting all worked up, and starts to drive faster,

all the while bragging to himself how tough his car is.

Next thing he knows, the car begins to overtake him

and he starts to cry and sob.

Anyways, the guy reminds me of the Nightrider sobbing

when Max chases him down. The Saturn is black by the

way.

My mother thought the commercial resembled the car versus tractor-trailer movie Duel,

directed by Steven Spielberg. I saw the commercial again tonight, and now as I think about it

again, the commercial does resemble the Max-Nightrider chase. I never thought of Mad Max

when watching that commericial. I definitely need to watch Mad Max again, a movie I have

not seen in at least two years. )
