There are 20 different models of Falcon with many different motor / transmission variations, so Ill assume you mean the XA-XC series
Falcon XA 3.3litre 6 cylinder with three speed manual = 152 kmh
Falcon XA GT 5.8 with 4 speed = 206kmh (128mph), standing quarter 15.8....
Falcon 1970 -71 XY GTHO phase 3 was capable of 235kmh ( 145mph ) and it the fastest to date.
The falcons became slower after this because of the fuel crisis and pollution laws and dogooders.

I havent got the movie here with me but I'm pretty sure Barry says "phase 4 heads" ? anybody?

Hi Phil, well my Interceptor could do 65 mph in 1st gear, 100 in second, and off the clock in third and 4th, with the manual in it,it has a 140 mph speedo in it! and with the auto, it would need top gear a little over 140 mph.
please note this motor had been modified,, my XF 351 also could do this, for that matter all my 351s have been able to do this!, all you need is a 2.75 diff ratio, or 2.77 if a borgwarner diff is been used, and the biggest spin is putting it back into third a 200 and flooring it, it is the biggest buzz you will get I think.
