Wow that is a great shot, the Interceptors look quite at home on Sandown park with Melbourne sky bathed in sunshine and tyre smoke hanging in the air. Great pic Nelson... Being an EX-Patriot Melbourne resident I totally love the Sandown race track I have been visiting it since I was about 13 years old. I saw the Formula 5000's there in the 1970's, along with the Moffat Mustang, Jane Camaro, the Norm Beechey Monaro... Even saw the 956 Porsche's on it.

Suprised how natural the Black on Blacks look on the track.

Racing the push bike I must have compleated 100's of laps of Sandown park during the 1980's... I just love the racetrack... That Easternats must have been an awesome weekend.

And for sure the biggest MAD MAX replica gathering of all time...
Cheers

Mate, the back end has always been the same, think I must be braking. Brad organised the wheels some time ago, they arrived a couple of weeks before the event. Will be losing the lower front and removing the rear glass for the full size tanks in the not too distant.

From the tanks it looks like all ya need are the end pieces and their done just'gasp'cut the rear window lower valance and the bottum of the nose and you now have a exact replica of The Road Warrior 'My fav version BTW' BoB
