My new "Interceptor"

Post by 04GTInterceptor »

Here is my American version of a Pursuit Special / Interceptor. Bought it last month, 2007 Mustang GT. With 300 hp from the factory, I've added a K&N cold air kit, but I'm looking for Barry to add "a piece from here and piece from there..."

I'd get ya some 18X10 and 18X8 black shiny rims for it and get a custom MFP decal for the fenders..Oh and that Dynomax exhuast kit for the 05-07's sound KILLER,you should consider them as well.My buddy just bought a 07 GT that had a dealer installed 70 Boss 302 kit put on it and maaaaan does it look swesome, the hoods even got the raised'hump'in the middle like the 70's did.the boss front spoiler looks KILLER on the 05-07 stangs too.The new stangs are awesome cars yours is a good looking ride man!

"fer shizzles!"

Is that a drunks description of what happens when you throw a whole kanga on the barbie?

Just wondering.

Nice looking car 04G. Two too many wheel for me though LOL!

Oh I am truly envious! I've been saying a GT s a good start for a Maxstang. Those lens covers are just screaming "stripe me". My suggestion: use the Roush spoiler instead of the wing on the back, much closer. I've looked at lots of aftermarker front spoilers and there are some that are closer to the BoB than others. A shaker sticking out of the hood .. er ... bonnet.. would help the look too.

Now I really want to do a Crown Vic in MFP yellow!

There's a black Cobra here at work with the nice, wide, five-spoke aluminum wheels that have been powder-coated gloss black... a possibility? He's running blackwalls but I want to paint the letters sooo badly. I don't know if the Fox-body SN97 wheels will fit the modified DEW98 platform though.

They have the Shelby side scoops which look good, and the rear tail vs spoiler idea is a must. Rocker rails look too cluttered to the rest of the scallops and shape. I haven't seen a MACH I-style hood yet, but it might look out of place on a modern car. Photoshop/Painter anyone? Give it time and Barry will come around.

It's definitely a nice ride...congrats!

Congratz! I got a 05 redfire GT. One of the first on the road. There where a lot of people looking at the car when I drove around in it back then. And even today a lot of people look, it's just THAT awesome.

I actually like the standard exhaust tone, so we're going to keep it stock.

Nah, I am not new to V8's. I just don't want to get rid of a perfectly sound exhaust system before it's time. And you can not deny that the mustang sounds fine as is.
