I guess it would ruin things if I mentioned that I read the director is a convicted gay pedophile.

Watch the movies again with that tidbit of knowledge and see if it's even creepier.

I hate to be fastidious...but I don't think it matters if he's a Gay or Hetro Peadophile...a peadophile is a peadophile and it's just wrong!...unless he's also gay, then it's worse!

Aye I was reading on the IMDB about him being peado and thats the reason the girl who survived the first film didnt return as she found out about his past life!!

Yeah, the whole pedophile director thing kinda ruined the movies for me.

I was really fascinated with the monster's character which was hinted at in the last scenes of the first film. Liked his taste in vehicles and his shop with the music playing made me feel right at home. This is no animalistic monster, but an intellectual, cultured and creative entity.

Since this guy has been greenlighted for a third film, it makes any blacklisting of Mel Gibson seem very hypocritical to me. DWI and vague anti-semitism vs. a homosexual rape of a child. Hmm... I would think Mel will work in Hollywood again.

Wouldn't surprise me...Robert Downey Jnr used the old "I'm just an ordinary guy with a small drug problem" excuse...and it got him off...4 TIMES!!!!!

I guess we can look forward to Mel's "I'm just an ordinary superstar with a problem with drinking and Jews" excuse.
