I love bullitt too, because it is proof to all those ford mustang lovers about how much better a Dodge Charger is.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned The French Connection. That chase was pretty intense too, especially in light of the fact that the film crew shot the scene on location and didn't tell anyone what was going on.

True, they had people strategically placed in the area to keep "civilians" out, but a few got past them accidentally. Most notably, the woman pushing the baby carriage who almost gets collected by Doyle's car. She was not supposed to be there, but it looked so cool, they kept the shot.

Also, the final chase in The Blues Brothers was pretty cool.

Must be the every episode of the A-Team, after they had welded together a cabbage throwing

tank!!! and where no one was shot or killed!!!

Or the Dukes of Hazzard!!!

In the early episodes Bo and Luke always use to drive around scrap yards.

Then there was Daisy's Legs. She was well fit!!!

For anyone who has'nt seen The Dukes of Hazzard, find a web page just to look at Daisy.

Trust me.

: You can't forget Vanishing Point. An ex race car driver, now car delivery guy has to deliver a '70 Dodge Challenger R/T to San Fran from Denver in 3 days, but he bets his friend he can do it in 12 hours.

have you seen the re-make of vanishig point?

It was a Fox TV movie a few years back. I missed it because I was at sea at the time it aired.

How about "Thunder Road" with Robert Mitchum

Old black & white flick, but great action for the era.
