At the end Of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome...
Has anyone else ever read about how Max is left in the wasteland at the End of MM3? Did any one who wrote those articles notice that Jedidiah's home was only a mile away with presumably many supplies that he had stolen, plus his crashed vehicle still looked like it had alot of stuff in it. Also any one notice that he lost his jacket. Who thinks he went back and got it? Only a couple of miles away, maybe he had to go that way anyways? Can you tell if he's wearing it in the final frames of the film ???

Yup, he's wearing the jacket at the end of the last frame, he's also carrying the spears(?) and umbrellas the kids took across the desert, but he's on foot, sure, there may have been stuff in his truck that he wrecked, but hey, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be too keen on hauling all that junk across the nothing on foot. And let's face it, he was hauling mostly junk, some usable stuff, but, mostly junk, that he'd scavenged.

Ive often wondered about that aswell, he lost the jacket in the car chase from memory so it would have only been less that an hour or twos walk to find it.
He could also have gone back to jedadiahs house but I imagine that Auntie and her guards probably went back that way as well (maybe to rebuild, or get what was left from bartertown) so Auntie probably looted Jedadiahs house anyway. Isnt it just enjoyably maddening to wonder what happened to him?. In the book he expressed satisfaction at staying at the kids oasis so maybe he was looking to find his way back there?
One thing is certain I guess, he would have to find some sort of shelter or food quickly as there was nothing much out there to scavenge as in max 2 and on foot he would have died soon (the novel describes how he only just made it to barter town after 2 days of walking when he was robbed at the start of the film).
