K&N Filtercharger

Post by Kenshiro »

Hi. I was wondering, do K&N filterchergers really make much if any difference in performance? They

are advertized to, but I was wondering how truthful this is.

I use the K&N filter in my Caprice. I've modified my hood with a "ram air" type scoop

and the filter gets dirty real fast. Beinfg able to clean the K&N as oposed to regular filters has paid off in just one summer.

As for better flow.... most definately. Just comparing the 2 filters it's easy to see that the K&N is beter flowing as well as stopping dirt from getting into my fuel inj. system.

I installed one in my Astro van a few years ago, and my brother and I noticed a immediate

difference in performance. And the fact it's reuseable is a plus for anyone in saving costs.
