It does seem a little unrealistic, and then again, when will we have a global war?

Dont forget, when MM3 was made, the concept of Mutally Assured Destruction (MAD) was still around. The USSR was very much alive and the arms race between the USA and them was a big money spinner.

Dont forget, the 2 mighty warrior tribes sparked it all.

Global war nowadays is more then likely a thing of the past. But 15-20yrs ago it was still a thing to worry about.
