Spin-off - who would you want?

Ok from time to time films and tv series have a spin off e.g Friends spin off was Joey.

Who in the world of Mad Max would you like to see a spin off of?

I think Id plump for Jebediah we dont know that much about him he has a plane he could travel any where vist new places etc new people every week a new adventure it would be spot on.

Or Roop and Charlie would make a brilliant comedy lol....no I'm flaming driving the car priceless lol

Any other ideas?

The Goose would be my choice but unfortunately.......

Steve Bisley is a great actor (wasn't he in a UK/Aussie co production drama called Police Rescue of did I imagine it?) and the character of Goose is certainly larger than life!

"Bartertown", detailing the plots and intrigues involving the Matriarch of the trading mecca, and the power and water hungry people who come into her sphere. Maybe with Max paying a visit once in awhile;

"Fifi And Company", about a beleaguered MFP Captain and the ragtag crew he has to work with, after two of their cars are totalled, and his best driver steals their best car and leaves for parts unknown;

"The Tribe", about the Great Northern Tribe, planned by Pappagallo and led by the Gyrocaptain, detailing its settling and growth. (Actually, that one sounds kinda good)

It would have to be the gyro captain of course..he was the only other guy that brought the comedy reliefe but still staying in serious carracter..and he got the girl in the end..or feral kid as an adult,leader of a tribe.

I agree with Redd4 the tribe's travels to the land of breeeeeeding sounds like a good series but it'd get tired rather quickly not too unlike that series in the late 70's Space 1999... why we never had a moonbase in 1999 I don't know.

I think for a spin off series something like the survivors of the marauder gang under Humungus would be interesting, I know there's no chance of any TV company doing a show that features a bad guy raping and pillaging his way across the virgin Australian outback, it'd set a bad example for the youth of today... but something along those lines. Maybe a lone traveller, or better yet, a couple who are trying to find a better place for them to live which seems to be always just over the horizon. Perhaps they hooked up with Humungus' lot because they thought it was safer in numbers until they found themsleves involved in violence and so quit once Max had knocked the sh*t out of them all.

Another thought could be another cop dressed in black driving a black car also from the MFP compound out there righting wrongs with much gusto and daring do... nope wait that'll end up being just another Zorro.

Good thread Screwloose, certainly food for thought.

That is roughly the storyline I have used for my fan fiction piece I seem to have been working on for the best part of the last year.

I wanna spend a week with THE VERMIN, just see what they get up to, in particular just before they found the compound "then this trash arrived"

wandering the wasteland, as a giant army, you could see them coming a mile away the dust cloud coming closer - me, i'd bury my f**king self in the sand, and not climb out till they were atleast a mile past me. - i always wondered how they travelled, do they go highways - travelling in a pack overtaking each other etc. or in single file, HUMUNGUS at the front? - or do they bang along the desert sand waiting for sh*t to come they're way?
