Mad Max screening in Los Angeles

Apparently there's a new 35mm print of MM1 floating

around. it'll be screening at the NuArt Theatre on

Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica on Dec22-28. I sent

this to Peter, but since he's probably busy up to

the gills, I figured I'd post it to the board. This

print is probably in the same vein as the 70mm we

saw in Long Beach, since it has the original dialogue

and not the butchered US dub. I have to talk to some

folks elsewhere, but this seems to be the spearhead of

a nationwide USA art-house run. If it shows up in

Detroit and Chicago, my suspicions will be confirmed.

If you can make it to Santa Monica during that time,

let me know and we can meet before the show.
