Hi! I'm a member of the replica prop board over at EZBoard. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what brand & model Max's sawed off shotgun was? I've found several places selling replica shotguns for around $100 or so, and I was hoping to make my own from one of these rather than plunking down $350 for Empire Kollectable's offering. Please let me know if you guys have any information...thanks!

I used to have an exact replica, and it worked. It had the butt still intact, but had the barrels chopped due to previouse damage to the barrel ends. I bought it very cheap cos of this. Unfortunatly it didnt have a makers name on it, but I do know it was spanish.
I think any spanish style gun (maybe and AYA) would appear close enough. It was a very common design.
I didnt cut the butt off, cos it would no longer have been legal to hold on my firearms certificate.
