Memories
This a pic from ebay, but I have all of these trucks at home. Do you guys remeber the carefree days of playing in the back yard or the basement or where ever and enacting stuff from Mad Max. My basement was always covered with Matchbox or Hot Wheels (my parents mush have bought me hunders of cars) that were chasing each other. I had a Matchbox taxi with a big blower that I painted black, I thought it looked like the interceptor. I also used an Ertl big rig as the tanker. My mom acidentally ran over some cars that I was playing with in the garage and I used those as the cars that got wrecked. I remember I had a police car that looked the Blues Brothers car (complete with bullet holes that I made with a fork) that used to race the interceptor. I also remember when I used to have my GI Joe characters enact the final chase from Mad Max 2. The tanker was a big NAPA 18 wheeler that I glued gun turrets on. Ahhhhh those were the days. My roommate is selling all his Star Wars toys that are still boxed, I envy him for all the cash he's getting, but he never got to play with em like I did. GI Joe used to hijack the Millenium Falcon and Han Solo would have to chase them down in an X-Wing. Jabba always used to somehow trick the soldiers and trap them in his dungeon. I miss those days (even thought they were only like 10 years ago) Now all my toys are in storage since I went away to school, but I won't let my folks sell em cause I want my kids to be able to play Mad Max with them later on. Plus I know I'll want to play with them too!! Did any of you guys ever (or do you still) play Mad Max?
