They tried to ban Bull bars here! Too dangerous, and you might hurt someone if they run into you!!!

"They"

People with that mentality give me headaches.

Hellooo.. Genius type peoples.. Explain to me how a bull bar hitting you could do more damage at the same speed than a regular front bumper could??

Sure! Image A steel bar of perhaps two inches diameter presents a much smaller surface area than, say, a 4+ inch bumper. At 10mph a car or truck with bull bars on striking a pedestrian concentrates all of its 1+ tonnes of momentum into that tiny area. Does a considerable amount of damage, someone was killed at just 5mph in the UK by a Range Rover with bullbars because the weight behind the impact was so huge and the surface area was so small (but they must have been about 100 years old), which is what brought the ban into consideration.

Good enough explanation for you??? Damn Yanks, no understanding of physics Image Image

...And by "They", MM2050 meant road safety legislation officials. I guess he just didn't think you'd be able to read such long words ImageImage

Yep that's overcautious modern Britain for you. They'll be a ban on driving soon. I say impose a ban on banning, before its too late!

All of this with just one questions about a listing of a Sandman....."Wow" I wonder what kind of responses we would have seen if I would have asked sprog's diaper brand or favorite toy (I know S&W 44 MAG...)

Being that we are so far off topic can anyone here attach or send me directly a very good screen grab of FiFi's tattoo? "The spider on the back of his head"...
