If you want something nice, you're gonna pay up front, or nickle and dime yourself to the same price over time. But, you'll have the enjoyment of doing things YOUR way, and the satisfaction of restoring a marginal car back to something nice.


An Interceptor build-up is the same way. Price out all the mods and equipment in parts alone, and it adds up. Factor in the labor and get out yer calculator. It's some bucks.


What you gotta take into account is that a car like this is worth more than the sum of it's parts, and more than it's market value. My (for now) ratty John Goss Special probably can't be sold for near what I'll have into it when I'm done, but I'll have had heaps of enjoyment that will make it all worthwhile. I'm not into these cars for the resale value; I'm into them 'cause I enjoy them.
