Mad Max 4 good and bad news.
I suggested months ago that George Miller either write or hire someone to write a novel of Fury Road, so my choice is #2.
To me, it just wouldn't be right if someone else played Max.
Thunderdome
We don't need another hero...we've got MAD MAX

A link would be kinda cool on that, Max.
(We always like new sources)
By the way, I mis typed above.. the "NFW" answer applies to #1. "Forget about it"!

The link for the story was on the homepage (you might have to scroll down a bit). www.madmaxmovies.com
Edit: I will quote the news post for you....
"5-Jul-2004
* According to Yahoo Entertainment news, Mad Max 4 is back on again, and Mel is ready to start shooting. Read the full article at http://au.news.yahoo.com/ent/woolworths.html."
Edit: It seems as though the story is not on the front page of the Yahoo! Australia website anymore. Here is a direct quote of the news story (luckily I saved it)....
"Mel's mad fir it
He said he'd never do it, but Mel Gibson has finally started work on the fourth installment of Mad Max: Fury Road. The actor - who last year earned a whopping $300 million, and has just been named in a leading poll as the world's most powerful celeb - will begin shooting in Sydney and Namibia. Only thing is, Mel's accent is completely Americanised now - wasn't Max as Aussie as they come?"

Mad Max 4 good and bad news.
I have to admit to ot reading the news page on the main site terribly often.
Totally missed that bit.
The article seems to be gone, though.
That certainly is good and encouraging news.
On the other hand.. Yahoo news has on occasion been completely & totally off-base with many news stories in the past.
I remember one back in 1999 regarding the Upcoming "Godzilla 2000". It said Godzilla would face off against the Ghost of the original Godzilla, killed in 1954 and a Bioengineered creature with DNA From several of Godzilla's former foes. This was also supposed to be the LAST godzilla film ever.
(Totally false. He fought an alien spacecraft and a monster created by said spacecraft using G's own DNA. There have also been four other godzilla films since 2000 with a fifth due for release in December of this year)

Has somebody watched the hi-tech Godzilla movies from Japan? I mean these funny productions from the late 90's on DVD ...
Jeesus, it was a pain to watch them. IMHO, worse than the US remake.

I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

Carful there, Bub..
Some of us are bigger Godzilla Fans than we are Mad Max fans.
I also know many that think the Mad Max movies were stupider than the 60's Godzilla movies.

Sorry Fox, I didn't want to offense you, dude. For instance, I'm a big anime fan, even if I know that many will make fun of me ...
