Well guy's, there has to be some background to them or how would you know they were from that car, to sell them as the genuine article you must have proof, if the seller didn't remove them himself then he must have got them from either some one who did or someone that knows someone who did, there has to be a story with them whichever way you look at it, whether they were in a junk shop window with "mad max lights" written on the label or whatever, you can't expect anyone right in his head to seriously bid without proof...............................then again, this IS e-bay!!!!!

I had e-mailed about them when they first went up for auction and this is the response I got back:

"Myself,,and a heap of other Broken Hill people worked as extras on the max max 2 movie. and a friend of mine,,Keiron,(the man shaving Wez) managed to "borrow" a few collectables from the chrysler, he has since passed away,,and left the 4 lights to me in his will.

i think they'd be more f**ked up.

Anyone else seen WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE? as i explained to ADRIEN a week ago, the damn VALIANT wreck, is found, by the makers of the Doco, on an Emu Farmers land. and it is missing the roof lights, but like i've read, anything useful on those cars was taken by members of the crew as part payment for working on the movie.

Sounds fare enough to me Doug, would also be interesting to know his "extra" involvment in the movie, this is the kind of info that would have helped buyers on e-bay.
