Stock is now listed at "Reorder". You can still purchase a model but you will have to play the waiting game and there are no promises that the restock will happen.

That's great. My order from HLJ has been shipped and I will be waiting for arrival.

Go to the thread about the "Scratch Built Pursuit" and find a link to the website that sells the resin conversion set at a fixed price.

I will be ordering my own conversion kit soon.

Hi Barry, Youre built up looks sweet, the drybrush on the tanks is particularly awesome...

Ive gor the Aoshima catalogue for 2004 and their builtup is overdone, looks like someone went nuts with Tamiya Desert yellow....

Re; the conversion set, have you actually done one yet??? In hobby Japan in December 03 they had an unreal photo layout of a completed first version.

Hello Andrew.

No I haven't tried the conversion set out yet. I need to order it, and I will be doing so in the next couple of weeks. The resin pieces appear to be high quality castings from the photos I've seen.

I have been busy making working headlights on that particular RW model and it looks freekin cool.I have photos of a professionally built Aoshima that was up for bids on Ebay and went for about $150 US. The photos are what I will try to reproduce but with functioning headlights and taillights and maybe a flashing inside Beacon.

Aoshima Kit and upgrade parts

When I ordered back in early February HLJ was out so I picked up one off of Ebay. Seet kit, decals included! I matched it up against the pics I took of Tony Martino's Interceptor at a show last year. Looks very accurate.

I ordered a conversion set from A/FX N Scale Resin to complete the conversion from Mad Max 2/Road Warrior to the Mad Max un-blemished look. Got the 7 piece kit today, very sweet! Was worth the price and time it took to get!

Will post the finished work when done. If anyone wants pics of the conversion parts let me know, I can shoot a few and email them.

This message is to BarryZ28 or any one who would care to respond.

How are you all doin'? I just stumbled across this site while trying to find an online store who lists the Aoshima AOS 32176 or the AOS 32183 kit of the Falcon Interceptor from The "Road Warrior". Whew!!!!! finally someone with some knowledge. Can you or anyone tell me where I can find the kit. It seems that HLJ doesn't have it listed anymore on their site. I've tried emailing Scott at HLJ 3 times now with no response.

From reading some of the forum listings, there is a conversion kit to build it as in the first movie? How and where can I at least obtain the conversion kit. What does it cost and who makes it.

Does anyone out there know where I can find the kit for sale?

Can you or anyone bring me up to speed with what's going on? What's happening with the reorder, what the kit is like, is it accurate, can the rear end be lifted as the real car was, does anyone have detailed pics of the unbuilt kit and pics of the kit completed, is the resin conversion kit difficult to fix to the body, does the conversion come with the rear boot and spoiler and the lower part of the Arcadipane nose, does it come with the overhead console and left seat (not the sideway seat as in the Road Warrior), does it come with the blue light and assembly for the dash, does it come with any MFP decals?

Any other pertinent info about the kit and converson kit would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to everyone!

Respectfully, C.
