HI Gordon,

I get a totally different response with the bob than the oldsmobile got. The bob is the most exiciting car i have ever drove, although when the olds gets back out ,well it should be interesting. One fella at the show was so over joyed with the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of the cars ,well i think i brought a tear to his eye , he was so happy and most likely is still smiling today.

Im having a ball with the cars , i have you to thank for that ,without your help and knowledge i probably wouldnt have been able to build my ultimate dream car.

Gordon,

Just received my copy of AMC. Congrats to you on that well written editorial of yours. Although it may have fallen on deaf ears to the politicions in Australia, we car and Interceptor affectionatos hear you loud and clear and sympathize with your situation. One day you'll have to come over here to see the appreciation these Interceptor recreations garner.

Also, Jim congrats on your display. They did a great job on your logo. I didn't see anything on ebay when I typed in MM for a search though.

To Mark and Jim, thanks guys for the kind words..

Yep we sure do miss out on a lot over here.

I expect that the recognition in the USA is still so much greater than what it is in Australia. In Australia from time to time you still get "so what an XB with wings on, the blower don't even work".

But in general the Interceptor replica is well liked and in fact loved by so many even in Australia.

And as I have been saying for 20 years, the Government attitude in OZ toward these cars is just insane and stupid.

I had actually forgotten that I wrote that letter to AMC, so I was suprised to see it, they do not actually tell you that it will be printed.

Guys when I get the big block Replica finished, I plan to take a day and go far away from the city, and do something you guys can do almost any day....just drive along the road, with our road and licensing laws they will need to be empty roads, with no cops, I'll have no interest in impressing anyone, I can be all alone and just soak it all up, the sound, the feeling. I shall go right back to the starting point, (the early days). Hell yes.... actually have some fun.

I send you guys a photo... Thanks again for the support, enjoy those cars..

Kind Regards

Gordon
