The little guy from MM3
The little guy, Master, is supposed to be smart but he talks like a moron. What does he do anyway? He didn't know how to disarm Max's rig, he just encouraged the smiley guy to think it through. Maybe he's an idiot savant...not very bright except for being exceptionally gifted in one thing.

If that one thing is producing methane then you have your answer. that's all they need him for, they were just tired of the embargos and got rid of blaster. besides, i think he talks like a moron to show he doesn't have to speak clearly to be heard. i think he's lazy. after max beats the shit out of blaster he starts talking normal.

Having read the a MM3 novel a long time ago, I feel I can help with this Master business. when pig killer discovers master chained up in the pig pen he gives master water or something , it is explained that "for the first time in years master talked properly, not in the pidgin english he used for blasters sake. Im not master, my name is Elvis Ford, im 54 years old and my life is over, he said"
Therefore master simply talked like that for blasters benefit and probably because he felt so powerfull he didnt need to bother expressing himself better in order to get whatever he wanted done.
re the dynamite, I think that due to being so drunk and corrupted with power, he felt that anything he wanted could be done. The novel goes on to say that once the bombs came off, master ordered max's truck installed with "foxtails, streamers, go fast seats," and says master wanted this done to fulfill "a childhood dream" of owning a souped up car.
Master seems to me like the classic mechanical engineer stereotype from the Austrailan 60's and 70's presumably educated somewhere like UNSW renowned engineering uni) and has a knowledge and love of steam engines, trucks and other sorts of big heavy machinery that kept Australias proud manufacturing industry alive before Labor governments in the 80's finally managed in their long term goal to destroy the industry.

Perhaps the native language of Blaster was different - he could have been a foreigner in Australia when the **** hit the fan. Master could be speaking to him much the way I see American tourists speaking to Korean and Japanese - in broken English "You speakee Englishee"? It's a common thing to see where I am in Korea with tourists. It did get a bit annoying though in the film with that and the broken English of the Walker tribe as someone mentioned earlier. Regs, Steve

As much as I feel the Walker tride are equal to the "Ewoks" in "Jedi", it's probably realistic to have them speak in broken English. Any persons born after the bombs fell would lack any real education or understanding of "proper" speech. The people of the old world like Max would be the last to carry the tradition of proper language.

I liken this to the "High Speech" the Gunslingers use in King's Dark Tower series. The first book had a kind of lone figure to save the day feel as well.
