Hard question!

He also appears IIRC to produce his MFP service revolver despite its absence from MM2/RW. IIRC (again!) the old pistol is the same gun prop that was used by Bubba Zannetti, but then again I trust the IMDB about as far as I can throw it!

Another question:

As you know, Max's jacket has only one sleeve since MM2/RW. Does someone know why? Is it revealed in the novel? Had Miller said somewhat about it?

I recon he cut the sleeve off when he was tending to his arm after Bubba ran over it.

That sounds good. Possibly he has used the leather from the sleeve to make the mountings for the shoulder protection.

Yeah what the f**k is that thing he pulls out at the end? what ever it is, looks like it has a Folding Stock of some sort, but it ain't an HK or anything.

I always thought he had the arm cut off in the hospital, to tend to his arm, like BILLY said. they don't like to take clothing off when tending to gunshots and sh*t, too much damage and pain can be done, so they just cut up ya' clothes to get to it.

At the very beginning of MM2, when he walks to the graves, his jacket still has two sleeves.

IMHO, when Jesse and Sprog are already buried, he remained without hanging care several days, no?

I'm not persuaded that Max went to the hospital with his wounds.

He's sought by the Main Force Patrol after all...
