Is the pad definitely vinyl? The description says "Cowhide" but I'm not sure how much is cowhide and how much is vinyl....


I was really looking forward to purchasing this item but I'm not sure now....

OK... you're right... it's cowhide. I think the point was that the real padding is made of fabric (probably polyester) - not vinyl or leather.



If anyone wants a Mad Max shoulder pad, just e-mail me and I'll make you one. Expect to give me a couple of months to get the movie-accurate supplies together, and a pricetag of somewhere in the $80 range. I am currently working on one for an interceptor replica owner.


Also expect a newer, better tutorial for the do-it-yourselfers out there.
