I've been looking on ebay for a pair of motorcycle leather pants ... older style size barge-arse plus ... and have noticed that there are quite a few Brando style jackets appear on their listings. You may have to adapt epelettes or flaps but some go for quite reasonable prices.

Browse Cars and Bikes/Motorcycle parts and acc/apparel

Good luck

don't forget, that the original jackets for MM1 were made out of vinyl. Plastic! There are no MFP leather jackets. If you are still in Australia, try to take an airplane to Japan and find this (I don't rememeber the name) corporate, there. But, sorry, there are a lot of leather jackets close to what we have seen in the first one, in Melbourne, with only two pockets outside, with no epaulets or belt.
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

Click on "The Warrior". They are now making a copy of the MM2/RW jacket that is listed as "coming soon". I'm sure it's big bucks.

I wouldn't advise anybody to give the greedy jap bastards a dime for their replicas. I still can't believe what they charge for stuff. I see they've added a bunch of stuff to their lineup sine I last checked their site, but they still want an arm and a leg and a good section of internal organs. Thjere are real leather jackets floating around in Australia that are so close to the original two that you don't need to pay a thousand bucks for a replica. Even American motorcycle jackets are better than you'd expect for their price. Aussie state troope jackets are pretty close from what I hear and lotrs of other companies made similar jackets in the eighties, so just keep looking and eventually you'll find one.

I must admit, although the prices at the MFP site are expensive, their wares do look absolutely beautiful. If their sizes were a little larger, I'd be very tempted to puchase their Warrior jacket and shoulder pad....once I'd saved up.

At the moment, those guys definitely have the monopoly on authentic Max stuff.....

For those of you who are as picky as I am, I just wanted to say that the shoulder plate the MFP Clothing Branch is using is the wrong kind. The plate is the type "B" on my shoulder pad page in the costume section. Not to mention that they made the whole padded part in vinyl. How are you supposed to rivet this thing to a jacket if all of the rivets are already riveted in the pad?
