MFP1, your absolutely right,
The points you have made are exactly what i would've thought they would have explained to me when i asked for all the info from them, instead all they wanted was to know the condition and value. If i were them i'd be telling the owner his car would be wrapped in cotton wool and treated like royalty.
Although it is probably a real thrill to have a car involved in an event such as this, i feel it would not be worth the worry and stress.
I'm still waiting for more details, curiosity more than anything else, anyway, i'll wait and see what the deal is.

Be careful! With all this child-porn and a lot of another strange things there, your car is an enable signal to be stolen quickly!
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

I'd do it only if all my airfares were paid for and i was the only one to be transporting the car at all times, and i was allowed one friend or family member with me, incase i got lonely in a strange place.

I met up with the UK organisers last week at a show to find out more but there still in talks with the shippers and others involved and couldn't really tell me anything new yet, except there's a chitty bang bang, bullit, eleanor and a few other replicas that have agreed, providing the paperwork is in order, still waiting for more info.
Due to the way customs work over there, the vehicles have to be delivered right to the door and cannot be driven at all, only into the exhibition center, or something in the region of 50% is charged per vehicle, 50% of what i don't know but i think i need to read the small print.
Dr, Nelson from cars of the stars museum was also asked if he would hire out a couple of vehicles but apparantly the fee he wanted was half the value of the cars, which i suppose is fare enough considering they're the real thing, but they were just too expensive.

Hi Adrian.
I had brief contact with this guy (just one email, and it went no further, however I would have been interested to follow it a bit further) but he says that he wants to go with a car from the UK if he can because he can ship a bunch of UK cars together.
When I found out that the show was in mid Winter in Korea I kind'a lost interest anyhow, snow and freezing cold, ha ha ha .. sounds like England. But with out fish and chips.
Freezing cold and nothing to eat...
No place for man or reptile I say.
Regards
Gordon.
Cheers
