If you've seen W2WYA, you'll see it's in no condition to travel anywhere. I would have tried to visit it though. The owner, "Mad" Mick, seemed like a very personable guy. Hope you like emus though.

The Valient is in worse condition than the rolled and blown up 2nd interceptor? Lord, I saw the ipx of it after the "moat jump" and it was crunched but didnt look all that bad. So "Mad" mick is a cool guy? Ill have to seek him out when I finally make the "pligrimage". I have never met either of the guys, s I am wondering what made the Interceptor/cobra truck/buggy guy such a bastard? Was he mean to people at the B2TM? He did drag his wrecks all the way out to be at the event... other than that I know nothing, except that I still cant order the W2WYA doco cuz they still have paypal troubles, so I am going off your knolege of it..

No, It's not as bad as the Interceptor hulk, but it has been sitting without a drivetrain since, well, 81 it looks like. Technically, it could be moved, but is surely too far gone to be resurrected al-la the cobra F-100. Who knows if Mick has since been overrun by fans wanting to see the Valient, and his mood has soured. But in the doco he was a very gracious host when most of the people in Broken Hill wanted nothing to do with the film crew. One of the guys (on the crew) said: "It's like an episode of the X-Files, you get the feeling that everybody knows something, but nobody's talking....It's a conspiracy!"

As far as making the owner of the BoB a sourpuss, having people steal parts off your property / vehicles probably had a lot to do with it.
